This is WHY I Sew

Pat from Florida (USA) 0

Today's feature comes from Pat of Florida (USA). This quilt was made for her Great nephew. She's a lifelong sewer, quilting since 2008. Here is her story:

"My niece named Walt after her favorite poet and decorated his nursery with pages from Shel Silverstein’s poetry.  I couldn’t find poetry fabric so I got the next best thing, fabric with words, including sports.  Side borders are uplifting quotes from famous names and top/bottom borders are just positive, encouraging quotes. Mom LOVED it, I think Walt does too."
